Just got back

So day before yesturday, I got back from MA, slept for 12 hours and am now frantically rereading Harry Potter and relizing how her writing is flawed slightly, despite the fact that the narration is good.
In other news I am thinking about buzzing my head, thoughts?

Least Efficient Possible Route

So today at about 9 I will be leaving for SeaTac Airport to catch a plane to get *eventually* get to Cape Cod, after car parking and shuttling, baggage check in, a ridiculous security procedure (don't you dare bring on that family sized Carmex, you might not get as dehydrated) we will get on a flight to Atlanta Georgia at about midnight, for those of your keeping track at home, that means we are going from Seattle to Atlanta, which is a diagonal flight which takes more time than just taking a direct flight, so we will arive at about 8 in the morning becuase of timezines. Then we will wait for a bit because our connecting flight isn't for a while, or we will have to rush to our gate, I'm rooting for the former. At this point we will fly straight up the country to get to Logan airport in what is the least efficient possible way of getting from point A to point B. We aren't taking a direct flight to save money, but this doesn't make sense, it seems like it should be cheaper from a fuel and salary perspective to just go the most effiecient way, if this incolves stops, I'm okay with that, but our route is ridiculous. But wait there's more! When we get to Logan airport my family (mom, dad and me) will pray in our special atheist way that our bags have followed the same route as us, while we wait for the baggage claim. We will have arrived at probably 1 in the afternoon, if we are lucky we will get to the shuttle-busstop at 1:30 or 2 wait for a shuttle to the car rental place, then wait around to get a car so we can drive to Provincetown in Cape Cod. It usually takes and hour to get into Boston so that we can take the 3 hour drive to Provincetown. Oh. Joy. This is why I hate travel. I'll have blog about everything probably a week from today.

Going in for more, 6 degrees of Michigan, Shipping, sucky cooking and I'm just going to go for it

So know that I have gotten into the swing of things I must blog more, muhahahaha/evil laugh. So multiple unrelated drabbles it is! muhahahah/evil laugh.
I have lived in michigan for 7 years, the weather is wierd, the animals are larger and fireworks are illegal. We don't even call it snow unless there is 3 inches of it accumulating, we call that a flurry, and it didn't even happen if it didn't stick. I am amazed at more many people I meet who you can trace back to this state in the shape of a mitten. 2 of my friends' parents are from their, a good amount of my teachers went to school their (altough 50% of our teachers in the country come out of the state, so this makes sense) I see people with Spartan or Wolverine jackest all the time. It just sort of odd.

*warning this video has non-explicit homosexuality, Avril Lavigne and one very bad word that implies that Avrilis a royal and ingages in homosexual incest with her mother, it rhymes with motherplucking princess*

CSI shipping, the fans have interesting names for for their ships, Brillows, CatNip, Snickers, GSR, Yo!Bling, Sandle and those are jsut the straight pairings (cookie to anyone who can correctly identify all of those and extra credit to those who can identify, tell my what the theme is and point out the non-CSI pairing correctly of the following, TheLove, TM, Two Beards make it right, CSR, Texas Hold'em) I'm still waiting for the new season and trying to decide if I want Jorja to sign or not, or if the whole thing is a publicity ploy from CBS.

I suck at making fudge, it never sets, nuff said.

I'm just going to dive in and make a world building blog, look for it in the intervening weeks.

*edit* this isn't my video, there is a prepnderance of Nick/Greg fanfiction and most of it is both good and tasteful and makes a good point about the chemistry between the two, not enough but almost as much as Grissom and Sara. ;P

Welcome back, it's almost the the 15th of July!

So yeah, sorry, it's been a while. In the meantime( and in no specific order) I have watched a few movies, I can review them as saved posts, found some good websites, celebrated 4th of July with lots of fireworks and the movie Independance Day, finished 9th grade, knit some stuff. My too goals for this summer are to finished reading the Harry Potter series from start to finish and do a year of math. So I have posts handled for a while, but they will be fairly spaced, mainly becuase I can't blog from my computer becuase Mozilla from 2003 can't handle blogger. On wednesday I am leaving for Cape Cod for my Aunt's wedding, I am going to have to wear what is essentially drag for my, even though I'm a girl, a dress, and because It is a nice dress and I haven't worn a dress since I went a sweet sixteen in February I will document the occasion. On August 8th I am going to get the surgery on my ankle.
On another note, I have a ton of worldbuilding notes in my old notebooks from this year. I am thinking of continuing on a blog so I can get feedback. Is anyone reading? Are you interested? I have a spacefrontier type world where your class is decided on by when your ancestors moved to space, a world with werewolves that is modern day and not a horror world and then a slightly more space opera/space as an ocean type thing with different aliens that are based on the type of animals might be from thier planets which may or may not be a continuation upon a world where humans are a universal DNA donor for all carbon based sentients and aliens form an allienance whith earth and we addvance and become culturally richer, eventually. On second thought I think that I won't make that a continuation. So anyone interested?
